Principal Therapist | Complex Relational Care
Working with individuals, couples, and families when relational situations become complex, strained, or difficult to resolve through standard counselling alone.
Schedule an Initial Consultation
Begin with a structured consultation to understand your situation and determine the most appropriate next steps.
The first step in working together is an Initial Consultation.

This meeting begins a process of assessment and clinical formulation to develop a clear understanding of the situation you are facing and to consider what type of support may be most helpful.

Depending on the circumstances, this assessment phase may involve more than one session before clear clinical recommendations are provided. These recommendations are typically discussed in a separate feedback session and may include counselling sessions, parent consultations, referral to another professional, or written recommendations for schools or other services where relevant.

For some people, a small number of focused sessions may be sufficient. In other situations, a longer course of support may be recommended. In some circumstances, more concentrated therapeutic work (such as extended or intensive sessions) may be recommended. The assessment process helps determine what approach will be most appropriate.
If the consultation relates to a child or adolescent, parents or caregivers attend the initial consultation without the child present. This allows time to understand the broader context and consider the most appropriate way to involve the young person in the process.
